Directions
- Temper the Tayrona 53% Semi Sweet Couverture as shown on the back of the envelope. - Melt the butter in the microwave set at low power. - Mix both the chocolate and the butter in a bowl with a rubber spatula. - Set aside. - With a mixer, or a wire whip, mix the eggs with the sugar until you have a creamy pale mixture. - Incorporate the egg and sugar mixture, the melted butter chocolate-butter and the Vanilla using a rubber spatula, making a wet mixture. - Mix the flour, baking powder and salt together, making a dry mixture. - Add this dry mixture to the wet mixture. - Add the chopped nuts and the chocolate chips. - Refrigerate for 30 minutes. - Take out of the refrigerator and with your hands make 60 Gr balls. - Put on a sheet covered with parchment paper. - Bake for 18 minutes at 420ºF - Allow to cool on a wire rack.
